Susan Gross

Susan Gentry Gross, 77 of Amanda, Ohio, was called to her Heavenly Father December 22, 2025. She passed away peacefully at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.

Susie was born in Huntington, West Virginia January 3, 1948 to Ray and Barbara Gentry. She was a graduate of Huntington High School and attended Marshall University and Columbus Collage of Art and Design, where she met her husband, Eric. She was a member of Ripple Creek Community Church in Circleville, Ohio.

Sue was known for being accepting of everyone without judgement. She created a warm and welcoming home that was always open to friends and family. She loved her pets and animals of all kinds.

Sue was an incredible mother and an even better grandmother. She truly helped raise her grandchildren.

Sue loved creating three-dimensional art and stage props out of cardboard and paper mache. She also enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, playing games, and watching Jeopardy.

Sue is survived by her husband of 56 years; Eric Gross, her brother; David Gentry, her three children; Tracy Gross (Douglas Cordell), Adam Gross (Alison Gross), and Jamie Lara (Juan Lara), and her five grandchildren; Paige Fruechtnicht-Panchak (Greg Fruechtnicht-Ponchak), Krischan Fruechtnicht, Graeme Fruechtnicht, Madeline Gross, and Ignacio Lara.
