Susan Marie Pinkstock, 66, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born September 23, 1950 in Greenfield and was the daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (Newman) Wisecup. Susan was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, a Sunday school teacher and lay delegate. She was a 1968 graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School and retired from Community Bank in Lancaster. Susan enjoyed cruises with her husband, long drives and getting lost on the way. She loved playing hand and foot with her family and friends and playing euchre in her Tuesday night card club.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Larry Pinkstock; daughter, Maria A. Pinkstock of Lancaster; grandchildren, Ashton J. Myers and Morgan A. (Paine) Sparks; great grandchildren, Cason and Aleah Sparks; brothers, Curt Wisecup of Chillicothe, Carrie Wisecup and Larry (Jackie) Wisecup both of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Anthony and Jeffery Pinkstock.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastors Todd Noland and Steve Rauch officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
