Ted Allen Young

Ted Allen Young, 75, of Stoutsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at his residence.  He was born on July 18, 1940 in Circleville and was the son of the late Harold and Marvine (Aldenderfer) Young.  Ted was a 1958 graduate of Walnut Twp. School and retired from GE after 32 years of service.  He was a member of the Ohio Society of Traditional Archers and lifetime member of the Ohio Bowhunter’s Association and NRA.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda (Brown) Young; two sons, Alan (Cheryl) Young of Oklahoma City, OK and Nathan Young of Columbus; grandson, Phillip Young of Oklahoma City, OK and a brother, Jeff (Susan) Young of Columbus.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Young.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Circleville.  Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
