Terry J. Wharton

Terry J. Wharton, age 62 of Amanda, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at his residence. He was born on December 1, 1958, in Lancaster, son of the late Donald and Ruth (Loy) Wharton. Terry co-owned Buckeye Products with his brother Stu, who preceded him in death. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and was also an exceptionally talented photographer. He was a graduate of Lancaster High School, class of 1978.

He is survived by his uncle, Dan (Carolyn) Wharton, of Amanda; cousins, Staryl Wharton, Scott Wharton, Brent (Michelle) Wharton, and Frank Wharton. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Stu.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. No public visitation will be observed.
