He is survived by his mother, Maxine Hunter of Rushville; brothers and sisters, Tom (Mary) Hunter of Florida, Janet (Dave) Riggs of Rushville, Mark (Joyce) Hunter and Sandra (Rick) Smith both of South Bloomingville, Sondra (Mike) Hoxie of Laurelville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
At the request of the family there will be no public visitation. Private interment at the convenience of the family.
Please accept my deepest sympathies. Tim and I were classmates all the way from Saltcreek Elementary School and played Little League together, I being one of the pitchers and he being the catcher. Ironically he could throw faster than me. I wish your family healing during this trying time.

Maxine and family So sorry hearing the loss of yet another "Hartley" to cancer.
Have such good memories of staying with you in the brick house on 56 and seeing everyone at grandpas house. Wish our families would have stayed in touch as my kids and now my grand kids have missed out on knowing my dads side of the family . May Tim rest in peace Love Bridget
