Valdo W. Beedy., Sr.

Valdo W. Beedy, Sr., 81, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on August 1, 1935 in Washington Court House to the late Alva and Flossie (Cherry) Beedy. Valdo was a member of Pine Grove U.M. Church and Moose Lodge #955.
He is survived by sons, Michael (Lorri) Beedy of Florida, Valdo Beedy, Jr., of Lancaster; daughters, Mary “Stormy” (Jeff Rollins) Beedy of Lancaster, Valinda (Robert) Huffman, Sharon (Vincent) Baumann, Janet (William) Pratt all of Columbus, and Teresa Caudill of Pennsylvania; and many grand children and great grand children. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Katheryn Beedy; son, Duane “Mark” Beedy, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Bill Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
