Viola Marie Vickroy

Viola M. Vickroy, 90, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Crestview Manor.  She was born June 21, 1924 in Fairfield County and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Margie (Stebelton) Smith.  She formerly attended Mt. Carmel United Church of Christ.
Viola is survived by her sons, William (Jamie) Vickroy Jr. and Jim (Janis) Vickroy both of Lancaster; six grandchildren, Katie, Clayton, Amanda, Josephine, James and Chad; great grandsons, Luke and Remi; brothers, Clyde Smith of Canal Winchester, Ira Smith of Columbus, Charles (Donna) Smith and Kenneth (Jenny) Smith both of Lancaster and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Vickroy Sr.; brothers, John, Roy and Dave Smith and sisters, Ann Thomas, Alice Frank and Ruth Thomas.
A grave side service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Amanda Twp. Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.
