Virginia Lee Smith

Virginia Lee Smith, 76, of Chillicothe, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2015 at her residence.  She was born July 16, 1939 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Opal (Deskins) Rowe.  She was employed as a  merchandiser for Schottensteins.
Virginia is survived by her children, Ronald (Bobbie) Dixon of Chillicothe, Constance (Tim) Schults and Carla (Bob) Thomas both of Johnstown; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Louis (Nina) Rowe of St. Louis, Missouri and Mitchell Rowe of Cannonsburg, Kentucky; sister, Dinah (Clarence) Pratt of Ceredo, West Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clifford Dixon and John Smith; sons, Clifford Dixon, Jr. and Gregory Dixon.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Stoutsville.  Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
