Walter Kiser

Walter Kiser, 82, of Lancaster, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 5, 2017 surrounded by his family.  He was born May 31, 1935 in Pike County, Kentucky and was the son of the late Taulbee and Nellie (Branham) Kiser.  Walter was retired from the City of Columbus as a heavy equipment mechanic and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church in Groveport.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Arizona (Tackett) Kiser; children, Tronny L. Kiser of Lancaster, Gary W. (Gracie) Kiser of Grove City and Diana L. (Gary) Peters of Lancaster; grandchildren, Sean Kiser, Jessica (Rory) Hart, Amanda (Sean) Murphy, Stephanie Kiser and Lara Peters; two great grandsons, Logan and Brayen Hart; four sisters and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Herbert “Herb” Kiser.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Danny Carty officiating.  Burial will follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
